Svo received my passport on 28th april. No news after that. E-case status changed in process to decision made on 27th april. Please give me a knock when you get back your pp. thanks

If you sent your pp by VFS, then check VFS website, it will show when your pp are on the way, reached and will be ready to collect before you will get call from VFS office for collection.

Sent wife's passport through VFS back on march 27 but still have not received it back... Sent Singapore a reminder on Friday that we had not received it yet.

When SVO will stamp visa on your pp and return it, then VFs website will show your pp is on the way to country. So check every day the website.

Is it, one is address and other is mailing address ? Then SVO will send mail to mailing address.

One is mailing address and the other one is his home address. I went to my mp last Friday they said they will look into his case. Hopefully it's good news.

I applied for PR (family sponsorship) outside Canada many moons ago. I should be getting my PR status soon. Thing is, I am currently in Canada and have been here for a year on extended visa - do I need to go to Singapore to collect it or can I request to collect my PR card in Canada? Appreciate any advise as I have to plan for my flight as soon if I need to.

Based on what i can remember you still have to exit Canada and re-entry as Permanent Residence once your PR has been released. So basically, you'll need to collect it on Singapore. Once you've got your Visa as permanent residence they won't send you the PR card... you'll received that after 1 to 2 months (it varies) you've landed on Canada.
