It is 99% good sign. VO started processing your application and hopefully they will ask you to re-do the medical, then ask you to submit pp to stamp visa. Wait for few days.

Wish you best of luck brother.

I heard in this forum in process means it's good sign, but don't know how long it's gonna take time to get mdr or ppr, or should I email to svo, any advice.

Hi guys
I am helping my friend to file his application to sponsor his wife in VN, I have a few questions regarding his situation:
My friend and his wife have 3 children in common. The children were born in VN, 2 of them got Canadian citizenship certificate last year in Vietnam. He applied a Canadian Citizenship for his youngest daughter 3 months ago and the application is still processing.
They will come to Canada together when the wife gets a visa.

Questions are:
1. Does he need to include his children in the application since they have got a Canadian citizenship already? How about the youngest child?
2. Is there any income requirement for him in order to sponsor his wife as they have 3 children?

Hi all,

I just got email to pay the RPRF... I paid it online... and sent a copy to Singapore... now on the bottom of the letter i received it said"Please do not submit your passport until your sponsor has paid the RPRF in Canada" ..

So my question is, Should my wife send her passport to singapore now or is she to wait until they approve her application?

Thankyou

Also if we do send in passport do we need to send pictures? or anything else?

Wait for Singapore to send a request for your passport. They will also tell you what passport photos that you will need to submit in the same request.

The children do not need to be included as dependants (since they will all have Canadian citizenship) in the application, but you still need to let Singapore know about them so include them in form 5406 in Additional family Information section.

There is no income requirement for spousal sponsorship but you still need to provide information on how you plan to support your new family.

My name is Sultana and I am an applicant from Bangladesh. My husband sponsored me from Quebec on 2012.
My application was received for permanent residence was received on January 19, 2012.
My interview was scheduled on November 14, 2013.
My application processing started on January 7, 2014
Medical results have been received.
Passport Request: still waiting.
- I would like some information on how long my processing time would take. As it is stated on the CIC webpages that processes for the Singaporean visa office takes 30 months based on a complete application package. Now I am confused if I should calculate my time from the day I submitted? Or should I calculate from the day they said my process started. This is also my second marriage and I have lived at Canada before, however my police clearance, medical, CSQ and my interview has been completed successfully. I just need a little help in understanding my situation. Is there anyone that can help me understand? I even received an email from the visa office on August 2014 for address confirmation.

Hi guys...just got news that we have to do an interview and it will be in the next 24 months :(.... Wow what a kick in the gut, we have done everything, accordingly and respected all of their requests...

Any support, ideas, actual timeline, process, hints or anything from anyone who has gone through the interview process would be helpful - would like to hear from you to just ease off our pain.

Thanks guys,

Thanks guys,

So sorry to hear about this. Are you both in Indonesia ? Maybe you can check the Vietnamese forum here : http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/our-singapore-timeline-vietnamese-wife-t72878.1050.html because some of them had the experience of waiting for interview or had done their interview. You can also request for GCMS notes. Sorry can't really help much.

Processing time varies from person to person. It is almost impossible to predict how long it might take. But one thing I can definitely say that you have to have patience and wait for your PP request or DM on ecas.

E-case status changed to 'In process' on 27th march. How long it will take for the ppr? And what can I expect next. Please help

You will hopefully get your PPR within a week and get pp back after submitting you PP by 2 weeks more.
