Good news !!! I got my gcms notes today, I read some good notes there... one especially being "request passport to ossue visa" so that means once the passport is returned my wife can come to Canada.

The timing is perfect as I planned a trip to Bangladesh next week... so if she get her passport then we'll fly back together! I feel truly blessed at how fast things mowing!

Nop. I'm in Canada since January and my husband is in Bangladesh. we are not doing anything. It was only intuition. a day before Decision Made I saw everyone was frustrated about visa issue and all that.That's why I wrote that message.

When I applied for my husband, I wanted Singapore officer to believe right a way we have a genuine relationship. I do not think officer took time for this investigation. Everyone was telling me like Singapore takes at-least 15 months to approve visa. My husband and I never believed that.

Hi! just a simple question.. how would you know if the file was transferred to SVO? Did you receive any email from them? I'm just concerned because on our ecas it shows application received aug6'14 and medical results received.. but I'm not sure if our application reached SVO..

Hey congrats on many getting news lately! We have got passport request as well. It was an email, sent to both me the sponsor and applicant. No photos or remed! Just appendix A and passport. Certainly made our day!

My medical was done before submitting application...amd it will expire march 2015

Thanks for posting this. We almost have the same timeline.. you're 2 months ahead of us.
Sponsor approved august 6, 2014 but until now no news from SVO if they received our application.
Did you receive any email from them that your application was in SVO already? thanks

how would you know if the file was transferred to SVO?

In my wife's case, she received an email once her file reached SVO

They said when I got my SA that they will send it to SVO. Once I had my ecas member I could see they received.

Hi Karen Ong,

CIC Mississauaga confirmed me the sponsorship approval by email and then two weeks later they sent an another email to my husband that the filed has been transferred to SVO.

Btw if you didn't get any email from SVO yet after sponsorship approval, send them an email or call them.

I submitted my PP & other required docs on 03 July to VFS but until now it is over 2,5mths my ecas is still "in process"

Just an update regarding my sister-in-law's (Family class PR app). I submitted her PP on 11th Aug 14. Today she got the "Decision Made" on her ECAS.

Hopefully her PP will arrive within this week....

I submitted 1 wk before u. What info did they ask u to submit? Besides all the docs they required like many other guys in this thread, they ask us to submit paystuff to show them the revenue that my husband earn because he didnt get a job until he received this letter, he only rent a house for living. I wonder is that the main reason that delaying the DM

They only asked for passports and appendx A . I dont know what take them thats long to issue visa

Congrats!!! My ecas also showed "Decision Made"!!! I wonder when CIC will send the passport. Anyone could advise?

I'm wondering the same thing. How long does it take for them to return the passport and visa after decision made? Does anyone have any idea?

Hi synthesis,
This week i got my passport after a long period of waiting (4 months). In my case they took more than one month after cic status changed to decision made. So plz don't worry they will return ur passport soon
