Just a question: is it acceptable if i scan the requested document and email to CIC? Cic asked me to submit Nikahnama in and translated copy. would that be ok if i scan and email?

I think so no.you have to send hard copy by mail.I also sent to visa office hard copy(original and notarized copy) they will send it back original copy.

Hey congrats on many getting news lately! We have got passport request as well. It was an email, sent to both me the sponsor and applicant. No photos or remed! Just appendix A and passport. Certainly made our day!

Congrats, just make sure when you send your passports tell them that your medical expires on Nov 4 ( The place who sent the passport for us put an " Emergency " note infront of the evelope )

hi guys I am sponsoring my wife in singapore and I am living here in canada. I passed our application to sponsor and her application for pr here in Canada. We received AOR and they said they will forward her application for PR in SVO. My question is do we need to wait for a notification from SVO saying they`ve received my wife`s paper? thanks!

U can definitely scan and send ur nimahnama

That is what I did..in fact it evemm said in the email to just reply by email.

Good news !!! I got my gcms notes today, I read some good notes there... one especially being "request passport to ossue visa" so that means once the passport is returned my wife can come to Canada.

The timing is perfect as I planned a trip to Bangladesh next week... so if she get her passport then we'll fly back together! I feel truly blessed at how fast things mowing!

when CIC asks us to send in medical, is it necessary for us to get medical done from the country v applied through or we can get the medical done from any canadian physician panel of any country??

Doesn't have to be done in Singapore. Your spouse can get it done where he lives, in Malaysia.

Good news, my husband's status has changed to "Decision Made" yesterday. Now we are praying for the visa and passport to return safely.

Shaw, your status has most likely changed as well. We might just be getting our passports back within next few weeks.

Congrats to everyone who have made it to this stage and best of luck to those waiting, the waiting will end soon, in happiness (God willing )
