Haha yes I know they have one but it's actually not fully functional I went there when they were just opened in January they hardly do anything except student visas

But on a good note I checked fedex and my husbands passport was picked up today they said it should get here by Friday or if we are lucky and Bangkok is quick we will get it tomorrow!!!

Btw, it's nice that your husband was able to provide a prepaid FedEx envelope. How did he do that? What was the procedure? Did your husband just come to FedEx and request for a prepaid envelope? Or prepaid waybill? Or both prepaid envelope AND waybill? (Sorry, totally clueless as I never did this before :P )

The CIC also requests for an account number with the courier company. Did your husband get a FedEx account number when he bought the prepaid envelope/waybill?

My wife called DHL Indonesia to ask about a prepaid envelope/waybill, and they said they couldn't arrange such a thing O.o. Their exact words were "we wouldn't know how much to charge you. Only DHL Singapore would be able to issue you a prepaid waybill" >_<.

As a result, she ended up requesting to the CIC that she'd like her passport returned via registered mail (my wife did provide a self addressed envelope though). Now we kind of regret the fact that we can't really track the movement of the passport though.... *sigh*

Yes we went to dhl as well and they said they couldn't do prepaid so we decided to try fedex. You have to register and have a credit card put on file so they can charge it when other people send to your address. It's free to sign up, ( at least in Thailand anyway) we got a membership and that's how we were able to send a prepaid envelope... Actually it's not prepaid they just charge my credit card when they send it out. We were lucky because we met the manager and he has done it before and has dealt with the Singapore office too! So he told us exactly what to do.

I believe that fedex is the only courtier that supplies this option in Asia. I may be wrong but unfortunately we live in ubon which is a province next to lao so we had to go to Bangkok to send it and sign up because fedex service isn't offered to send here only to receive :(.

I hope this helps

just checked VFS site with the tracking number and the passport is on its way back to Bangladesh. They sent it back on May-05. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
hopefully within 2/3 days will get it back.

Good luck to all of us waiting for PP.

lol .. its funny .. don't know whether its a problem with VFS site or not .. I just checked with tracking no. again today and now its showing my wife's PP was dispatched from SVO on 7th May but yesterday it was showing 5th-May.

Don't know how long this game will go on ..

I emailed sgvo today and they replied promptly, stating that I made a mistake with my appendix A. Trying to rectify this and send back to them. Hopefully this can set things moving. Thank God I emailed them

What was your mistake with appendix A? And your status is still "In Process"?

By the way which email address did you send your email to? I'll try and get my wife to send one too, to inquire about the status of her passport.

fandv, there were gaps in the info that was on schedule A(Jobs and schools). Am really glad i emailed them to enquire so that i can rectify the problem. I have sent it with the case specific enquiry, hopefully there are no more problems/hiccups anymore.

Recommanded pass means you do not need to face interview.

Thanks a lot and highly appreciated

That due date doesn't concern you as well. It is the dateline in which the VO has to make a decision on whether to give you the reccomended pass or not.

What information do they need if you don't mind me asking :)

When did they ask for the extra info?

Hey, I mentioned the details in page 607. Apparently I was supposed to give last 10 years history. I provided less than that on IMM 5669.

Hi Polash,
From my understanding the due date is an eligibility date of being sponsor. It doesn't have any relation with spouse sponsorship file. May be if the file does not complete within this date, cic will request for further tax information. I am not sure ... I just reviewed few Gcmsc notes and I predict it.I also applied for my Gcmsc note. But didn't get yet.Your timelime is very close to mine.If you get anything from Singapore please update...

When you contacted your MP, how long did it take him/her to take action and force CIC to give you an update?

Seekingtounited, you account for less than 10years? Not sure if they will allow it for your case. In my case they don't, they send me a copy of my schedule A and I notice that they tick the dates, showing that they really look through what was given to them one event by another.

On the side note, hopefully my application can start to move from now onwards. I have been waiting for 6weeks!

Thanks you very much. So it means they are going to review the tax return for 2013. Its makes me worried coz in GCMS report showed they marked low income as I am a student.
