Btw, it's nice that your husband was able to provide a prepaid FedEx envelope. How did he do that? What was the procedure? Did your husband just come to FedEx and request for a prepaid envelope? Or prepaid waybill? Or both prepaid envelope AND waybill? (Sorry, totally clueless as I never did this before )Sammikens said:Haha yes I know they have one but it's actually not fully functional I went there when they were just opened in January they hardly do anything except student visas
But on a good note I checked fedex and my husbands passport was picked up today they said it should get here by Friday or if we are lucky and Bangkok is quick we will get it tomorrow!!!
The CIC also requests for an account number with the courier company. Did your husband get a FedEx account number when he bought the prepaid envelope/waybill?
My wife called DHL Indonesia to ask about a prepaid envelope/waybill, and they said they couldn't arrange such a thing . Their exact words were "we wouldn't know how much to charge you. Only DHL Singapore would be able to issue you a prepaid waybill" >_<.
As a result, she ended up requesting to the CIC that she'd like her passport returned via registered mail (my wife did provide a self addressed envelope though). Now we kind of regret the fact that we can't really track the movement of the passport though.... *sigh*
