correct me if I'm wrong, i don't think there's any status of passports received. The next ecas update that we need to see is "decision made". Some people got it before passport returned, some got it after. How long have you been waiting for the passports? i sent mine on the last week of march, am hoping to see it within 2 months

I sent mine in on the 13th of March, I hope it's less than 2 months!

Hi Fortune89,

Congratulations to you and your wife. Your waiting time is over.

******** GOOD NEWS ***********

Dhaka VFS sent a Text Message and e-mail to my wife on Sunday March 30th that her processed passport is ready for collection. She was out of Dhaka and returned Dhaka on Tuesday and picked up her passport today April 2nd. Thanks to Almighty that finally her PR Application process is completed.

I pray and hope all the applicants patiently waiting to get their process done get a good news soon. Its been a tough journey for of us.

Hopefully she will land in Canada on April 12th. IF anyone coming from Dhaka via Etihad Airways on April 12th then please let me know.

Once again all the best everyone. :)

When do you expect to see Medical received status on Ecas? It has been 6 months since I applied, and I only have 'Application Received' shown on my Ecas. I did my medical check 1 month before I sent out my application. Could it be possible that Singapore never receive it? If so, do I need to redo my medical check and send it to Singapore again?
Thanks!

Have you clicked on Application Received ?

Yes, I clicked on Application Received and there's only one line saying "We have received your application on [Date]", and nothing else.

For me, it was always 'application received' until the status got changed to 'In process' and when you click on "In Process" then it says we Started processing your file on date and Medical results received.
so based on my case, wait for the status to change to In process, may be.

Well our envelope containing passport and remaining papers SVO asked for are sitting at the Robinson Road Post Office
Canada Post couldn't find the postal code for One George St... so we put both addresses on the envelope.. After 3 phone calls to Singapore Post they advise us they can't retrieve it from Robinson Road.

I am sick worrying about this... The letter was sent requiring a signature and are you telling me the visa office doesn't pick up their mail for a month?

It arrived their on March 10th

This process seems to be never ending

So your envelope is sitting inside the SVO's PO BOX inside the Robinson Road post office then...? I guess you'll just need to wait till SVO picks it up from the PO BOX?

Btw how did you find out that the envelope is still sitting at the Robinson Road post office? I guess from the Canada Post tracking?

Oh no... we called Singapore Post... 3 times
They were going to retrieve from the PO Box and deliver to One George Street for us
but now we have been advised they can't retrieve it from the PO box

Wonder if we offer to pay them... will they retrieve it and send to George St???

I think saied in this forum faced same sort of problem with SVO. He repeatedly called the attention of SVO by sending email and calling them and those helped him getting his visa early. You can check his activities in last December/ January.

Wish you lack.

Thanks Shaw

We have sent a couple of case specific emails already and our MP's office is involved as well

Other applicants that have been in Canada on TRV were able to send PP to Ottawa...
Wish that had been our case :(

one month will be passed soo no decision made no passport back yet :(

Pending spousal sponsorship, to obtain visit visa to Canada, what are the most important documents, papers etc. the applicant must provide towards an affirmative result? Any suggestions from any member? Thank you.
