Hi Fortune89, Yes my hubby apply for a GCMS notes last week. No, he did not contact with his local MP yet. He will do it this week.

Your long waiting after re-med is unbearable. It does not make any sense. Did apply for any GCMS note recently? Can you have your spouse contact his local MP for an update from CIC?

Your friend will not receive any email update once passport reached SVO. But he/she will see an update in VFS tracking website.

Hi guys, I am worried. Is there a requirement for the police clearance to be completed within 3 months of submitting the application? We actually did the clearance in july 2013, and were going to re-do it soon after reaching singapore office. We haven't got AOR yet...just mailed it recently, but a poster mentioned outdated police clearance is viewed as incomplete and package will be returned? I could ask my thai wife to quickly have another one done. I await your replies please.

Your police clearance is good for 1 year... so don't redo it until they request another one
If you don't have a UCI number you also run the risk of them losing the new one... As they don't have a file to match it to yet

For us it took 5 days to get an update that SVO received her passport.

Dhaka VFS sent a Text Message and e-mail to my wife on Sunday March 30th that her processed passport is ready for collection. She was out of Dhaka and returned Dhaka on Tuesday and picked up her passport today April 2nd. Thanks to Almighty that finally her PR Application process is completed.

I pray and hope all the applicants patiently waiting to get their process done get a good news soon. Its been a tough journey for of us.

Hopefully she will land in Canada on April 12th. IF anyone coming from Dhaka via Etihad Airways on April 12th then please let me know.

Singapore Timeline Spreadsheet was messed up once again. I have restored and fixed the file. God knows many times I had to fix this file in last one year. Folks please do not change the file. Please do not sort/Filter the file data based on country. This is sorted based on Application Submission Date. If you need to do any sorting for your need please copy/download the file and do it in your local computer. once again STOP changing the file format.

Yes, good for one year. However, it must be obtained WITHIN 3 months of submitting application. Smeone pointed this out to me, so i checked the country specific instructions for Thailand...and clearly I missed the instructions. I just hope it's not a serious error where the package is sent back. Thanks for the response cdn mom.

It really varies...for some people, they send the PPR via regular mail, and for some they send via email.

They sent my wife's PPR via regular mail though.

Does anyone know when Singapore has received your passport do they update ecas to say they have relieved it? Just like when they update your information as to when your application was received and medical received dates? Do they put "your passport was revived on..."?

correct me if I'm wrong, i don't think there's any status of passports received. The next ecas update that we need to see is "decision made". Some people got it before passport returned, some got it after. How long have you been waiting for the passports? i sent mine on the last week of march, am hoping to see it within 2 months
