I realize many of you are nearing the final stages, after long waits and I wish you all good luck!

I have read many pages on this thread and have been incredibly helpful, but I wish to ask any of you if there is a 2014 timeline for singapore applicants. Maybe there should be another thread and a new timeline for 2014 to keep the new clutter away from your conversations which are mostly from 2012 and 2013 applicants?

Any response would be appreciated...remember we all start somewhere right? I would start a new thread, but just wanted to hear your opinions first.

I think you should make a new 2014 singapore thread

Why confuse the issue??
This thread has been active since 2009 and those still hanging on for more than a year or two can be very helpful to the new people applying

Just my opinion :o

Hi mikeymyke, i had a feeling you would respond. We both seem to be on the same page in a lot of areas. I appreciate your kind words. I probably won't start a thread as there are only 4 of us from what I can see. None from january, just one feb and 2 in March plus yourself.

I am actually hoping for less, so the backlog will hopefully become shorter in the coming months. The operational target for the Singapore VO is 3000 applications to be processed in the year 2014... The less there are on here would only speed things up I imagine. Of course I realize there are many who don't come on this forum, but regardless, seeing the averages of the other VO's and calculating the numbers I have seen on this forum, it does seem to be quiet as per number of applicants so far this year for Singapore.

I know I am probably over analyzing. Just have to tell myself to be patient and wait eh?
BTW, you should join the March thread...and we can communicate more openly on there.
Cheers

I agree, its just like how the rest of you mentioned that you've read through the past pages and found the information useful, likewise others in future would want the same information as well. The timeline and this thread also makes it easier to calculate the average time taken for SVO to process which I believe is also as helpful. If a new thread is created, sooner or later this thread will be closed and gone....then all the valuable discussion will be gone forever and future applicants will have to ask similar questions that have been answered before again.

Next, I believe there are more applicants than just 4 here. I am very sure there are some applicants who choose to just read the forum and not participate which is totally fine. Also there must be more than 4 applicants for the whole SVO, must not discount the fact that there are applicants who have not found this forum yet.

End of the day, please don't feel that you shouldn't communicate in this thread. I myself only started participating in this thread towards the final stages. I would even say communicate here so that if we can help, we can reply directly :)

And you have been very helpful. Hate to say I've spent a fair amount of time reading posts from this thread. :D I will just add my timeline here and encourage the fellow 2014 apps to follow suit if they wish.

pzbond, I only had good intentions...I appreciate your thoughtful insight. Why don't we just stick with one Singapore thread eh? :P

mikeymyke, I added myself to this timeline (just put 2014 applicant in the notes section on far right column). Up to you of course. Goodluck on being approved as sponsor...i think we'll hear something in a few weeks :)
