Yes, She is.

Hey guys..
Chiming in to say that our status changed to "Decision Made" yesterday early morning (TO time). The process began for us on Feb 21st, 2013. We sent the passport to Singapore on Feb 27th. So just over 12 months in processing time.

It's such a relief to have crossed the finish line. Now we're just waiting for the passport to be delivered to her & the flight will be booked asap! :D

To everyone else that is waiting...hang tight! :)

God bless!

I just sent in my Vietnamese wife's application today, but then I just saw the processing time for Singapore VO just increased to 30 months, we're 2 months away from Pakistan's processing :D

One of my friend recently requested MP office to get some more information regarding his spouse application from Singapore. They just responded this application still waiting for initial review even of some of the local MP constituency office will say Singapore processing time is 28 Months we can't to do anything you have to wait. If you would like know more about your application please order GCMS note it will give an idea what officer wrote on the file. if it's straight forward application or missing something .. or interview required. Writing Singapore email they might not reply or if they do reply they will say still waiting for initial review.

Good Luck

Hello Canoyon, Thanks for your suggestion. From where can I order GCMS note please?

Why so frustrating !

Wait for 2 more quarters ( 6 months ). After 2 more updates SVO processing time will be 36 months because that is the trend (Look carefully). Singapore Visa office Manager and Visa officers are very generous to to give helpless clients tuff times. We should order flowers to be delivered to SVO for their genoricity.

We else we can do ?

CIC is doing discrimination with us. Because our neighbour country India take only 4-5 months to complete the spousal sponsorship file. But in Singapore we have to wait so long uncertain time. We all have to submit written complain against SVO.I can't tolerate this type of discrimination that cic is doing with all of us.

My wife received her passport with the permanent residency visa stamped inside today!

We submitted the application in May 2013. So, total time from start to finish took about 11 months. We are lucky ones. Good luck to everyone out there! Thank you to those who provided their personal stories along the way.

Congratulations~! Thats very good news. I applied around the same time as you as well, hope I hear some news soon as well. May I ask roughly when did your wife submit her passport to SVO? Thanks.

Passport sent almost 3 weeks now no news yet :( i am worried :(

Same here. Singapore received my passport on 25th Feb. But no news on CIC or VFS website till now!!!
What is happening there??? :o

Canada Post started an investigation on our package to SVO on March 17th and closed it without telling us and when we called yesterday they said the package had been delivered... so we asked who signed for it... No one... Meanwhile our MPs office confirmed with SVO that they hadn't received it :(

We called Singapore Post last night and they were very helpful... they are retrieving the package and delivering as soon as possible
This journey seems to not want to end :-X :-\

She mailed it on February 24th and Singapore received it on February 26. Her passport was marked URGENT when we received it. This is probably because the visa expires this coming May 3. We did not have to do a re-medical.

Thanks for the update. Back in the century, the messenger would have been hanged. The newer century, they would have been shot. lol

I didn't see this coming. Hate it when you are part of the line up. :o

Any political party leader looking to get votes? I am all ears!

My wife's passport dispatched from SVO on yesterday for Dhaka VFS. So we are waiting to hear something from VFS soon.

Hopefully your spouse's status in ECAS will change to 'Decision Made' by this Friday. It may take 2 more weeks to get the passport back in hand after status changed to DM.

From the trend, it looks like it takes a month to have the ecas status change to 'DM' and then the time to get the PP back via VFS. SVO received mine on Mar-17 so not expecting any change till mid April. Truly this waiting is unbearable.

Best of luck to everyone here who are awaiting eagerly for their loved ones to get united with.
