Is any one here whose file received by svo at June 2013 and already get response for passport or medical?

After almost 2 years of wait and so many mistake from the visa office like email error and misspelled email , somebody in this forum read my case and said to me that I should send mywife passport right away !!! He also sent me his own appendix A in wich I had to change the File number at the bottom . I think it work !!! This is the first good news I get in 2 years and the first time they sent an email to the right adresses,
they sent this

This refers to your application submitted to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

Please note that as Mrs ........ is destined to Quebec, she and each of her accompanying family members must have a valid Certificate of Selection (CSQ). Your sponsor should contact the Department of Immigration of the Province of Quebec to obtain the required CSQ(s).

I already got the CSQ and it is valid until 2015, I thinks this means this means that they got her passport and accepted it and they will send it back soon ( I mailed it 1 month ago ) because they told her to get ready to go to Quebec , after 2 years of bad luck I hope this is the good one .

do you think that it is good news for real this time ?

Singapore received my wife's file in June 2013. We sent her passport last month and we are now decision made. Just waiting for them to return the passport which should be very soon.

Does anyone send email to Singapore VO to know the file status? Does they reply for such type of email or not? It's been 10 months I applied for my husband's PR. it's still application received. I have seen in this forum that someone applied September 2013 and already get passport request. I want to send a query email to Singapore VO. Because my file is very straight forward. My husband got his TRV for five years by one chance. But I don't understand that why it's taking too long time? My husband's medical will expire next month.
Please tell me your opinion for sending email to VO it'll be very helpful for me.

You are wasting your time emailing Singapore VO... they take months to respond if they respond at all
You are better off ordering your notes to find out what stage your application is at

Just an FYI for those that have applied in 2013
Singapore seems to be moving at a much more rapid pace than they were last year... but be prepared to wait up to 12-18 months to finish this process... All files are different and all visa officers are different in the way they process applications
You may see some applications get finished quickly

If you are curious about the status of your file ... your best bet is to order your GCMS notes
Once received if you can't understand them there are plenty of people on the thread that can help you

This process is definitely a test of your patience... I just don't want anyone to have false expectations of this process... It is great that some applications are flying through

I guess it varies. My wife's passport request letter also asked for schedule A......and the PPR came 9 days after the re-medical request...

My wife received her passport with the permanent residency visa stamped inside today!

We submitted the application in May 2013. So, total time from start to finish took about 11 months. We are lucky ones. Good luck to everyone out there! Thank you to those who provided their personal stories along the way.

My spouse submited on March 5th, 2014 @ SYLHET VFS and Singapore received on March 11th, 2014 ( NO news yet )

One of my friend submitted on March 2nd, 2014 @ Sylhet VFS Singapore received on March 6th, 2014 ( No news yet either)
