Hi the greatium,

Welcome. I understand where you are coming from with your frustration about the CIC website. I'm just not exactly sure where you are coming from. Are you or your spouse or fiancé/e Canadian? Is it your intention to apply through spousal sponsorship? Or have you decided you would like to immigrate to Canada and looking for the best way? What country are you currently living in?

Hey diyabrar! Yes I think so! No returned passport for you yet? Depressing. We have hit a snag with criminal records check. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get and came back with errors from lazy copying. Everything is written out by hand in Cambodia. Back to the drawing board and another 3 1/2 week wait and wasted travel time/air fares and hotel expenses. So frustrating. The main issue being there's no option for an express push, accountability or care, and now we're both silently freaking out about the 60 day deadline, in spite of the fact that we got on it immediately and tried to get a jump before but we're not allowed. i hope we get it as promised in 2 weeks without error. And that his passport is returned with the Visa quickly and not another month or more delay. one step at a time? Almost over. If I keep saying it it must be true... I'll be right one of these times!!! New Year's Eve is the 5th anniversary of the day my husband and I met so it holds a special place for us. Happy New Year everybody! And best of luck to all.

hello and thank you for answering my post...

currently im living here in singapore for 2 years and i am working still...but like most of us here we are fearing like some would not get renewed and couldn't imagine going back and working at our own country which I decided to settle and migrate to canada...my years of experience through my craft is around 4 years and counting...do you think that would be enough?

my fiance is same country as mine...I am just looking for the best way for my future goals....if anything else...please help me...start up...my application..as probably most would want to know as well...

please read...i am new to this forum site...if you can re route me to the correct topic probably you won't see me posting here and you violating the rules of the forum site...(flaming and disrespect, text typing)

hope you understand...respectfully...i just hope class attitude like you are showing here...should be barred from entering a decent country where everyone is being respected and guiding everyone accordingly...

Hi thegreatiam

I think you may want to try the thread for the skilled workers
Here is the link
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/

Don't take offense to other posters... most of us are only concerned or know about the family sponsorship side of immigrating to Canada... not the other routes available

Good luck
