Hi stelam,stelam said:Hi guys,
A couple of months ago, my wife and I sent some additional pictures and documents to support our relationship. Then, my wife's eCas just changed last Tuesday; it now says "In Process" :
1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2012.
2. We started processing your application on October 29, 2013.
3. Medical results have been received.
What does that status change mean? I've searched around, and some people say that it only means the VSO started to look at our case. Others say that it means that the interview has been waived... I don't know what to believe
thanks!
This for sure means that your file is being opened!
Since it says "Medical results have been received." I believe this is a very good indication that you will probably not need to do re-medical. In the other hand if they ask for re-medical usually it comes with passport request after 6 weeks which can also be good as long as someone is opening your file)
I believe that "Passport Request" is next step and now in process if medical is ok
Thanks
