Guys, It's almost been 60 days since I sent the passport....I'm beyond frustrated now!!! Singapore is not even responding to any emails by us or our lawyer!!! Why is it taking so long?? They could at least let us know if they need more info or if there is a problem...but the waiting is just so irritating!!!! :-[

Same thing happened with me, sent in my wife's passport and 3 months later, after about 3-4 emails they responded asking for updated IMM 5669 (probably because we didn't fill out the form correctly) and Vietnam police certificate (version 2) we had sent in police cert version 1 because they had not sated in their request letter which one to hand in so we sent in version 1. So we filled in IMM 5669 from the age of 18 (not 10 years ago) and sent in version 2 of police certificate on April, 10, 2013 and May,5, 2013 ecas changed to decision made. Now just waiting for call from IOM to contact us.

Try rearranging your email format like I did and they replied to my email that was written clearly within only 2 days not within 28 days like they said. Your name, client ID#,contact email, your question (even though most of this is already filled out on the email form)

Hope this helps you in some way

I sent my email with all that info and still nothing. Maybe they are just going to approve a group together since it seems like there are a few of us in the same position!

Hi,
I found that you applied on June 2012. Did you do remedical? If Singapore sent you PPR without medical, Then don't worry. They will issue visa before your medical expire. :D

I have sent passport to SVO via VFS and its 1 mo + they received it. Still in processing. Anyone have similar situation? Please share.

I re-did my medical X chest test and sent it with my passport as they asked. I did last medical check on May 2012. It was suprised that they didnt ask me to redo my police clearance ( My last one was issued on March 28, 2012). Singapore office sent me mail for asking me to redo medical and submit passport on 30 January 2013.

Hi Akhi,
I know one who applied in December 2011.After his application his baby was born. It delayed his processing time because he has to send all the documents to CPC-M for the Baby's sponsorship. His wife with baby got PR April, 2013.
You can apply for GCMS notes and see the VO's comments about your file. I also applied for GCMS two times and found that my application processing was delayed because of extensive security screening of my husband as he was in military service.

Passport in hand! (no need for congratulations ;D)

:) congratulations berbu!! How long did it take after you sent it in?

An incredible 7 months, we never expected that... I feel sorry for my friend who's applied before me and still waiting now.

Wow lucky you!! When did you send the passport? And from what country?

Sent mid april, received about 3 weeks later. Vietnam
