Congrats Berbu!!!

We sent our passport in 3 weeks ago and this afternoon we Went to decision made!!!

I am scheduled to fly back to Canada on May 19 and it looks like (fingers crossed) she will be able to join me. I can extend my return a few days so we do have a bit of wiggle room. Now if it doesn't come my wife will fly on her own.....just would be so nice to accompany her.

The really cool part is we decided to get away for one last weeked together before i head back to Canada. We are sitting on the beach in Phu quoc and my wife says....I have a good feeling....check ECAS. Well I didn't tell her I checked this morning and it showed no change. But to humor her I pulled out my iPad and checked......well look at that. "decision Made"

Gonna make for a Great Weekend!

26 months crossed for you. Just email them! and ask the what the hell is going on. Its absurd! did you apply for gcms? what does it say? why is taking so long?

Passport delivered to IOM this afternoon......Flights booked to head home to Calgary this Wed May 15.



Now my wife has to say goodbye to family and friends......a whole new stress just developed. Not to mention she is not fond of flying and this flight is a doozie but all things we planned for and expected.....so excited!!

congratulations ! yes its not easy to say goodbye to people she has been around for years. Ill be heading to ontario first week of june my mother in law cry almost everyday for my husband:s i feel so sad to see and hear her crying i feel like am stealing her son. Anhw all the best and have a safe trip

@Amy , how r u? Have you decided if you are coming to bd?have you booked your flight yet? I bought from turkish one way ,one transit, 1h 30 min transit 915$ that one was the cheapest for the earliest and shortest transit.anw hopefully the passports are on its way!

Yes its so difficult to see loved ones sad......but we will be returning often....heck we are building a house here in Vietnam.....gonna need to come stay in it once in a while

I bought ticket in Etihad. For me price of both Etihad and Turkish is same. I checked both. Etihad is cheaper for me than Turkish. For my husband Turkish is cheaper. So the total remains same I will go on June 15 and come by July 18. I also bought my husband's and son's tickets so that they can come with me.My husband submitted passport first week of May. I hope they will get the passports back by end of June. If their passport doesn't come back, I have to fly alone.
