well do i still need to gather proofs? They called my wife for interview. And we have lots of photos of the last time I visited. Does she need to take evidence when she is going for the interview?

Yes, keep every single proofs not only picture for your spouse to present at the interview, we had every single months skype history ( i even took a picture of me with the thousands of calling cards i used in the beginning),pictures, passport stamp that i went to visit him, hotel receipts(with both name and signatures).. the more you have the better it is of course what matters the most is the answer of the question your spouse will be asked. send & tell her to print and gather proofs one by one, all togheter may cost a lot..at the last minute you may forget some important stuff, you never know what proof they can ask. exemple the officer asked my husband proof that i was pregnant>even tough they took all the proofs before interview who knows maybe they didnt see it, who knows maybe the officer wasnt satisfied until my husband showed proof of my pregnancy...so just saying... hope they dont make you wait as long as they did to us. and if you skype take some screenshots 8)

Well, my journey with CIC is coming to an end. My wife is picking the visa/COPR tomorrow and I'm going back to Vietnam to pick her up on March 17th and coming back to Canada on April 5th. Thanks to everyone on this forum, it make the waiting a lot easier to bear knowing that I'm not alone during the process. Best of luck to all and hope you reunited with your love one soon.

Did you get the PPR by mail or e-mail? Where was it sent?

Cant believe what just happened... Got a call here in my mobile from singapore visa office. they told since i gave my canadian mobile number in application so they are calling me to tell that my wifes visa processing has been finalized and they need her passport. They also sent an email they told and i just checked it and i did receive the passport request.

But the passport request letter has no applicant name or file number. In the attached pdf letter said need to send the passport to Singapore address. Did others get same letter without applicant name and file number?? I thought we just cannot send passport through any courier outside country.

Ecas went " In Process" on Jan 21st, so pretty much one and half months after in process get PPR.
