Hey Bold9900,

We have a very similar timeline. Has your wife sent the package to IOM yet? I believe it is Ms. Tam and Ms. Uyen who takes care of that. Are you Vietnamese Canadian? I am Vietnamese-Canadian living in Ontario. Congrats on the PPR btw, the hard part is over. Now for the not-so-but-still-excruciating last bit. :o

best of luck!
Hi thepie,
You are correct. My wife met with Ms Tam for completing all the documents and re-medical (waiting for medical report back coming week) and submit them to Ms Uyen. I am also Vietnamese Canadian living in Toronto.

Did your wife submit her passport & police clearance yet? if yes. Did Ms Uyen give your wife timeline when IOM will get her passport(containing Immigration Visa), COPR (IMM5292), Letter to all Immigrants (FD01) from SVO?

Thanks,

It happens before you get the 'decision made' in your e-cas. It happened with shaheenaz too, I just went back and checked 4 days after she said her hubby's home address changed to her canada's address, her husband received the passport from VFS. Here:

Your waiting is almost over.

Hi Bold9900

My wife submitted her package on Sept 27. I believe Singapore received it on Oct 1, 2012. Ms. Uyen was very surprised that my wife wasn't requested a medical, and she told us a medical extension was the first she's ever seen. But after skeptically submitting our package, she told us, recently, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks (and up to 3 months) to get everything back. But normally, IOM receives something within 4-6 weeks. I think this timeline is accurate since many of the forum members here have received their visa in 4-6 weeks as well. My wife is from Vung Tau. Which city does your wife come from? I am sure we will get our visas very soon 8)

Congratulations Kurt! That is very good news!

Hey Lightbd,

I've read from your previous post that SVO received your package Oct 3? SVO received mine on Oct 1, so we have very similar timelines! So do you know how it works? Does SVO update the address on eCAS a few days prior or do they update the 'in process' to 'decision made' then. Or when does it begin to show 'decision made'?

Hi Thepie

I got a feeling your wife will get the visa before me since you submitted before me+ medical extension is in their concern etc. I'm quite worried about my application now, so many 'what if's in my mind right now.

Anyways, if I go through Shaheenaz's case she told us on 14th sept her e-cas showed 'decision made' & on 16th her hubby's home address changed to her Canada's address. So, I guess decision made appears before changing home address.

Kurt, is it 'in process' for you still or it changed?

Hello friends,

iam new at forum. my husband is main applicant under AINP program. He applied 2009 but in march 2012 he got the approval. In the mean time we update ours papers with our new born baby. Finally CIC received our PR application May 31st 2012. still now our case show the status "application received". Is anybody know what is the next step?

thanks.

Hi LightBD,

I understand the what-ifs, but if you receive a PPR, then it should be very conclusive that you are eligible. So do not worry my friend, now it is just a matter of time (a short period at that!)

Good luck.
