Wow. So sorry to hear about the wait Hello121. That is really heartbreaking. Is there any way that you can spend more time over there to make up for the time spent apart? Also, if I were you, I'd order CAIPS notes to see exactly what their reasons are for putting you in the interview queue. In starting out, you seemed to feel that your case was pretty straightforward, so it'd be interesting to learn where their doubts are coming from. Stay strong and keep us up to date in the meantime. My wife and I haven't heard anything back yet, but we are hoping against hope that the interview will be waived for us... although it's commonly held that 80-90% of cases from Vietnam go to interview--I'd assume it'd be the same from Cambodia.Hello121 said:The wife just received some mail from Singapore. Was dated October 24th.
She is in the interview queue. 24 months. A coupla years..
Sounds like they sent almost everything (proofs) back as well.
Now Singapore vo are calling forbl interview almost everyone except lucky one. Did you see in process on your ecas? I think when they think interview need they do no call for interview at first review (it does first 1-2 months insatial review).Hello121 said:The wife just received some mail from Singapore. My wife received the same letter but she also got a phone call and they told her about 20 months. It is a standard letter. Latter that week she received pictures of our wedding and some other proof. Now we wait another 7 to 8 months for an interview date. I think this process will be about 3 years. Makes no sense.Hello121 said:The wife just received some mail from Singapore.
