Re: Does Singapore VO reply your email?

I see your time line super fast. I do not know why Sep, Oct people file goes super fast to start process. I am lost. I am waiting for to start process but never happen. I will start cry now.

You do not need to send CSQ to Singapore. Quebec will send a copy to them.
Hi mirjahan,

I wish that your case will be resolved soon.

Actually, my application has gone through a bit bumpy road. I submitted back in May, only to get it returned due to missing documents and a form. The 2nd time I submitted, after the sponsorship application was approved, CPC sent the approval letter to wrong address (they entered it incorrectly). So I waited for 6 weeks to get a re-printed approval letter (3 weeks to request a resend and 3 weeks to process). That's why I only got the CSQ by last week. Anyway, I'm a bit surprised that Singapore VO started process my wife's application right away.

Regarding the CSQ, I just want to make sure that Singapore VO receives it. Now I have to wait again.

Do you and other in this thread think that my case will be waived for the interview? at which probability? I know that one of my friends got everything done in 3 months (including CSQ), but that was 2 years ago.

Wow. So sorry to hear about the wait Hello121. That is really heartbreaking. Is there any way that you can spend more time over there to make up for the time spent apart? Also, if I were you, I'd order CAIPS notes to see exactly what their reasons are for putting you in the interview queue. In starting out, you seemed to feel that your case was pretty straightforward, so it'd be interesting to learn where their doubts are coming from. Stay strong and keep us up to date in the meantime. My wife and I haven't heard anything back yet, but we are hoping against hope that the interview will be waived for us... although it's commonly held that 80-90% of cases from Vietnam go to interview--I'd assume it'd be the same from Cambodia.

They did make a statement in the letter saying they need more information.

I will be going to see her again but am going to look more into getting her a TRV to visit me here. Tho, it does sound like getting TRVs for people waiting on interviews sounds pretty rare.

Now Singapore vo are calling forbl interview almost everyone except lucky one. Did you see in process on your ecas? I think when they think interview need they do no call for interview at first review (it does first 1-2 months insatial review).
what reason they call for interview they should state that and we can prepare.
I am thinking what will happen to me.interview que makes me angry, sad, worry and lonely.
There wasnt any change in e-cas. Still just says application received for her PR.

My wife received the same letter but she also got a phone call and they told her about 20 months. It is a standard letter. Latter that week she received pictures of our wedding and some other proof. Now we wait another 7 to 8 months for an interview date. I think this process will be about 3 years. Makes no sense.
We were married less than 2 years so it does fit with your belief that any married less than 2 years go to interview.

Right now just hoping and waiting to see if this new 'conditional spousal visa' will offer any better options.

HI Hello121,

I am very sorry to hear that. It seems like they are putting people in interview list without any reason.

Where is wife from?

Be strong...hope you get the interview date soon.

Thanks.

She is from Cambodia.

Right now it just feels kinda surreal. 2 years for an interview seems just crazy to me.

Our application was sent in June, and forwarded to SG in August. Still no word in ECAS or any emails. What I was told, roughly, is that applications that go through the system (anywhere, not just SG) have to go through several different queues to be processed, depending on what needs to be done with them. Each queue might take several months.

That said, I just assumed that they must do some preliminary processing when the application is received, to see if it's complete, and maybe to check some other variables, and then it gets pushed over to another queue. We're all probably somewhere in one of those queues. No idea why some people skip over those queues and go straight to the PPR, but I figure it's some combination of variables that shows the VO that their case is very likely to be legitimate... maybe the sponsored person owns a business, or has a high income or something.

Disclaimer: Everything in the previous paragraph above is entirely speculation. The truth is, we'll probably never know, unless the visa officer from Singapore somehow decides to sit down with us and explain exactly how their process works from start to finish. And even then, maybe the honest truth would be too ugly for us to bear...

I am agree with you. ECAS never gives accurate status and you can not relay on it. If you send e-mail to Singapore to know what queue your are on but they will not give that answer or status. Once i send first email they told me queue to review by officer. and second e-mail told me all application are process in the order which they were received. Process delay if interview require, each applications are vary from each other, require documents,or doubt on official documents (marriage certificate, etc)
Normally when sponsor person is eligible to PR application then they start process the PR.
I am looking for that answer what is the requirement to be eligible for PR.
Can anyone get this answer for me please, or from any Visa Office.
My question is why interview queue is long and why they do not ask for interview at first stage of application receive. They think interview required not after 9-11 months application received.

One of my friend told me that his cousin's wife got interview letter in May. Last week they got another letter with interview date, which is in December, but he couldn't tell me the exact date. good luck to everyone who is still waiting.
