Can afford to go there yeah.... finding work is another thing.. indo very strict with the work permit. There is a clause that states a foreigner married to an Indonesian can work to support their family without a company sponsored work permit but generally a foreigner
Would need a company sponsor to work there and basically need to be expert in a specific field. My wife is going to speak to immigrasi to see if I can work on her spouse sponsored KITAS i could rather easily get without the company sponsored IMTA

No change in status. Last notes were pulled on July 19. I don't expect news for a couple of months.

i think they r gonna ask remedical if i get PPR after interview

Hopefully you can order those notes soon and get to the bottom of why they want an interview. Really shocked considering how well put your application was. At least the "good news", as I mentioned to others, is you likely won't have to wait 2 years for the interview.

Thanks a lot man. When I read the email, I literally almost smashed my phone.

We will get the notes, Mrs.ImABule is going to fill out the new form today and ATIP says the request is on hold.

We are currently exploring options, one of which being doing what etienbjel did and go to a third country on work permit and then send more proofs and request a waive. One possible place is Cambodia as no degree needed to teach English.

We are also looking into whether the KITAS (Indonesian resident visa) when spouse sponsored means the foreign spouse can work without a company sponsor.

I almost feel like a large portion of my file was lost or something... considering the errors made already on such simple things such as education level and the fact we didn't even submit the rep form, I wouldn't put it past cic at all.

thnx, when i found out im in interview list i was disappointed too, but kinda mentally prepared as most bangladeshis r going under interview process, and i heard they do easy questions. but if red flags they questions further. mostly they ask about spouse and his profession and how met?
