I have 5 week each year and bormally i cannot get more than 2 weeks in a row. But when I explain my situation to my boss they let me get 4 week in a row. Have to keep 1 week for christmas holidays

I could of taken all 4 weeks in a row if I explained why I needed to, but couldn't get extra unpaid time on top of that.

I didn't want to take all my vacation at once and know I had no option to visit my wife until I got my 4 weeks back again the next calendar year. I've gone 3 times since June 2015, all for 2 weeks at a time.

I remember when I was a bit confused in early May this year whether my interview would be held on time consequent upon a nation wide strike, I emailed to SVO. It was week end for them but I received a quick email reply directly from Mr. Thomas Richter informing me that the interview will be held as usual and in case I miss the appointment, chances are, rescheduling might take very long time could be over a year owing to huge volume of applications processed in SVO! So it was right from the horses mouth.....

Thank you so much ImABule. I applied to sponsor my husband in Sept 2015, and haven't heard anything yet. While other people that I know on a forum from Vietnam, applied same time with me, they all got visa already. I wonder if it's time I should send them an email yet.
