I was thinking same thing. I applied two months later and been in SVO process for a month and a half longer.

I'm not sure of the reason, but the cause could be from my wife (my sponsor).

December 18, 2015 Mississauga received application. And on February 12, 2016 they send us an email and request that the form IMM5540. I do not know why but my wife was able to fill missing something. This may be the reason for the delay to file was sent to singapore.

p.s : i know of a case, filed in December 2015 in singapore. and on June 3, 2016 received a visa. can see it is the hope for all of us.

Just got ''Decision made'' on ecas, 2 days after we got passport request 8) 8) Now i'm pretty sure that my wife will land in august
For my timeline, it took about 7 month and half from application received to Decision made.

Congrats again!!! There are success stories for SVO.

I am only four months in, so will not get my hopes up for a couple months.

My ECAS was updated today. I have a fifth row now which says

"We have sent you a letter on June xx. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

I've ordered my GCMS notes about a week ago but they haven't gotten to me yet so I'm not sure what it's about.

Any thoughts guys?

2 months ago my eligibility was in progress. Criminality and security was shown to be not completed.

The notes seemed good. Last one was went like this "age of me and age of my wife. First marriage for both. No children. Educated. SPR travelled to HK during this time period and met with PA. Photos seen. SPR went to Indonesia during this time period. Photos seen. SPR returned to Indonesia for wedding. Photos seen. Appears natural. Do not appear high risk. Possible WAV."

Is that all it says is we sent you a letter? Doesn't say "if you have not provided the requested information or documents please do so as soon as possible?"

Nope they didn't mention that. Keep in mind this is the same set of officers that failed to notify me of a missing birth certificate on file as well . The only reason I knew about that outstanding document was from reading my previous GCMS notes. There is no record of correspondence for that incident either.

Normally if they need me to add records, they will write " We sent you correspondence on xx xx, xx. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. "

And do not want you to worry, but "We have sent you a letter on June xx. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." like your case is that they send a interview.

That was exactly my thoughts as well. That's why I asked about the eligibility and if it talked about documents etc..
