I know. I always said we put in so much time and effort into the applicant portion, and made a few mistakes with the sponsor part. But otherwise, i felt our application was very straightforward... We spent many months working on it and reading the forums before applying. Detailed trips and photos and family gatherings, along with not having any redflags at all helped. Document everything and make it easy for the officers to visualize your relationship.mikeymyke said:Really happy for you man. You had such a bad start, but it seems they've put you under some kind of expedited process, as your file at SVO seemed to go much quicker than normal, and also your passport got dispatched way quicker than most people here.
Again congrats !

Make sure your brother fills out all the applicable documents and has all required signatures, along with ample amount of proof of relationship (this is very important), i.e. communications: emails, texts, phone records/ bills; photographs of everything that your bother and his wife was involved together: wedding, honeymoon, trips, occasions, ceremonies/ family gatherings etc.; proof of important purchases: flight itinerary, gift receipts, etc. Literally give everything that shows the strong bond and authenticity of the relationship. And make sure all documents (i.e. marriage/ birth/ degree certificates and whatever else) are notarized.
Good luck to your brother!
