While I don't suggest giving false information to the officer. I wouldn't even mention the extension at that point. They might require a return flight, however, if she is just coming to visit you and see what Canada is like (keeping in mind that overstaying her welcome in Canada could jeopardize her PR application) - she might only need to show her ability to purchase a ticket to return home.jamiejamie1680 said:Thanks again, that's good news.
Do you think the immigration officer (upon arrival) will require her to have a return flight ticket? In other words, if she arrives on a one-way ticket, and tells the officer she is here to visit her husband for 6 months, and will apply for an extension...would there be any problems with this?
