Guys, I have an update to share: we got the re-medical request for my wife last night over email.

SVO also asked her to submit the passport 6 weeks after the re-medical.

The email comes 10 days after the ECAS status changed to "In Process". I guess SVO is still working, but very slowly.....

My file was transferred to SVO towards the end of September 2012, and the application status changed to "In Process" recently (Aug 26).

However, I'm still waiting for an email/regular mail from SVO.

does any one know how long it takes to get back passport after submission at VFS Dhaka?

my mother submitted her's yesterday at VFS dhaka with the letter requested from CIC, it was for TRV multiple entry. Thanks.

i think vfs add little more time to send n get the passport thats why i wanted to send passport when i''ll b requested for it through dhl or fedex also i guess i cant submit passport in person also get it back the very same day,is'nt it..so the plan of getting back the passport in person useless ....

It is upto you. I feel VFS is safer.
