GCMS is the global computerized program, which shows your existing file location, officer's comment, eligiblity and some more information in local visa office.
You may order your GCMS note through the following link;

In addition to that; you have to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
It costs you 5CAD.
It takes one month to get ready.
They will send you the note to your email.

sponsorship approuval ; 2 august 2012
information sent to singapor ; 2 august 2012
Quebec Imm CSQ ; got it august 2012
meds done = 10 febuary 2012

just got my gcms !!! Only need some help to understand some of the language that they use ? My english sucks for short term some goes like this =

These phrases are used for internal correspondences among officers. Medical exam and police certificate need to be updated. You will be receiving photo request as well as police and medical in near future. As your note simply says everything is going in order.

But I haven't received any further mail from Canada Visa Office till now. Is it because of the strike? Can anybody provide me with the status of my visa process?

i wanted ask case specific question to svo by emailing them..i wanted to ask about when thet schedule my son's d.n.a test...will it b right to email them,will they b angry for that n make my case more delay??? i want2 try for trv but cant do that coz i hv no idea that when they will call my son for d.n.a test..though my son will b giving d test in bangladesh but can he do this in canada as he can travel canada without trv as he has canadian passport???

That is right to send them an email. they are angry enough because of their salary . If your son has Canadian pass why you are waiting for d.n.a test?
All correspondence such as Email, mail and document requests are operated by local people in Singapore which can not take strike action. just few Canadian officers that authorized to make decision, interview, issue visa and Certificate of permanent residence may have walked out from their desks, rest of them has to be on work regularly.
Canadian embassy in Singapore has put strike action alert in its website recently, I am not sure whether all of Canadian officers in SOV on strike or not, I am sure they were working fine till end of July , but now, no idea. I have not talk to them for a while .

for reply..many ppl tell me that as i disturbed svo by emailing n faxing them thats why they give us d.n.a test req as a .so not so sure what to do? would it b ok to disturb them by emailing???

HI ALL,

i have requested GCMS notes last week and 4 days later i got an email saying that it cannot be processed due to missing consent form. I email back the consent form last Sunday, but did not get any confirmation email back saying that they are going to process my request now.
Should i request another GCMS notes?? Will requesting 2 at the same time create problems? Or should I wait for a few weeks??

Pease help.
