Hi guyz hope everyone is doing fine. My husband and me landed few days ago. Everything went well but something really wrong happenned and i wanted to share with you guyz. Today i went to service Canada to apply my husband social insurance card but we couldnt do it because the landing officer gave us a photocopy of the copr not original also theres a stamp ''true copy stamp'' where the officer was supposed to sign but he didnt!probably forgot it.i am so shocked. Unfortunately we didnt check the copr when it was give to us until now(today). so service canada couldnt accept his copr!! anyways we went through many calls once we have been told that we would have to have an appointment wand get this done in the aiport...then a lady called from border agency she told us that we can just mail to them the copr so the officer can sign and send us back by mail.anyways i am very pissed and shocked that this happenned. anyways all i wanted to say is check your passport stamp and copr and signatures when is given to you by the officer so you dont have to go through this.

Hope everything is fine at your side. How is your husband? Does he like here or missing his family back home? I am travelling next week. I would like to thank you to share such a valuable information. I never thought this could be happened.. I will definately check my husband's COPR and passport after his immigration.

I applied for GCMS twice and got it...Let me know when you guys get it so that we can compare.

And regarding remedical...You can only expect to get some communication from them when you will see "in process" inside ecas....b4 that just wait.

According to ur new GCMS, is ur application "in process "!!! Then hopefully u may avoid interview...

Thank you diyabrar regarding your answer about Re-medical letter. When "In process" will appear on ECAS; its now became a belief like a life after death. We believe in our death, but we really don't believe it in reality that we will die; something like that........its confusing ?? hah!!

Hi samkh: thanks again. Sure, I will let you know once I will receive GCMS note. Since your medical is expired, did you receive anything about it yet like Re-medical letter ?? My wife received nothing yet. We are in a complete limbo !!

I didn't receive any letter, for re-medical we have to wait till our ECAS change to IN PROCESS ,

IN PROCESS is such a dream word for me, which i don's know when can i see this word.

Ill update u once i receive my GCMS note Then we compare , to see wt is going on

We can order GCMS note to know wt is going in our file , u can apply online , it will cost u 5$ only, and it will take around 30 days till u receive the note.

Sponsorship eligibility passed May 17th 2012 & sent to singapore for PR processing
File received by singapore June 18th 2012

File first opened and initial review done on 9th september 2012 by visa officer GL018***

Eligibility Status: Recommend Passed
Security: Not Started
Medical: Passed, Expired

Comment from Visa officer after initial review: No concerns found, File ready for review and decision-----

Existing file location (VIsa officer: AG****)

Second GCMS notes was received in May 23rd: Exact same like before no updates no changes

ECAS": Application received...

thanks he is doing fine ,yes he is missing his family trying to keep ourself busy alltime. Well have a safe flight and enjoy hopefully things will go as you expect. yes make sure ,i have never expected big mistake like that from the officerr its really unbelievable. yesterday i sent the copr and passport photocopy hopefully we will get back soon with the signature.. that officer should get fired in my opinion maybe he will right after he sign our copr lol
