I personally submitted my Singaporean and Australian Police clearance with an updated Personal Details form, Passport details form, Medical form and my physical Passport last Friday; at the Canadian High Commission (aka SVO) situated here in Singapore. Although my PPR was on the 23rd of Nov, I was asked to wait 2 weeks till after my re-medical was done to submit my passport. Even after 2 weeks from my re-medical, I had to wait for the Australian police clearance to be mailed back to me. I had to have ALL the requested documents ready before I could submit my passport.
There was some confusion while doing my medical. In the documents sent to me with my PPR/Police Clearance/Re-medical, it was mentioned that the Manila RMO (Regional Medical Office) sent me an email earlier on and that I was to go for another medical examination. I never received such an email from RMO. So from my understanding, I just went ahead to do a full medical check again. The medical counter staff asked me for a case file no or any email with a serial number. I just gave them my Application file no. As I went along with the medical, I started pondering if the email I was to receive might have the specific details the medical staff were asking for. So, I told the medical staff not to mail my medical report to Manila RMO just yet. Explained to them that I'm supposed to have an email from them that might contain the reference numbers they might need to link my medical report to my application. I sent an email to both Manila RMO and Singapore VO to notify them that I did not receive any email from Manila RMO. Within a week, I got a reply from them with the attachment of the mail I was to receive. Lo and behold, they only specifically asked for another Chest X-ray and questionnaire for me to be filled by the Doctor. It also had a specific set of numbers to link to my Application file. Mind you, this set of numbers IS NOT the application number not UCI. I therefore took the email to the medical office, attached it with my report and they sent it out to Manila RMO.
So, if you do come across something like I did, please notify the right office if you did not receive an email you were supposed to receive. With luck on my side, everything turned out ok... I think. Hope my experience helps someone on this forum someway or another. Here I go counting down again..
