I am new in this forum. Any Idea .. what is the average response for the May Applicant? I understand it is always depends on VO as well as officer. I found a lot of people are waiting almost 2 yrs. Is there any process of fee that can help me to speed up my spouse file. We are recently married couple and cannot wait for a long time. It is very hard for us to stay in two different countries. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

In Canada you are almost certain that you can't buy your way with money. You could go to jail if you do that. For now, take a deep breath, take it as it goes. This is a long a process, you wouldn't want a quick process of refusal would you? What you can do now is to submit additional documents you might have to show your ongoing relationship with your wife (log chat, photos of visits, ...) after May to remove any doubt the VSO may have against your case.

Finally my file go to in process from 14 dec. feel boring about this application received..... in process........

I am not fimilier with all kind of process and that is the reason I was asking that. I was just asking is there any express process with extra legal fee (similar as express mail service(not to buy)) which can help my spouse application little quick.

if online doesnt work pay by Cheque or money order made payable to the Receiver General of Canada.

i have ordered the receipt to pay through a financial institution. My husband will do it. Now this receipt is named as immigration receipt. How can he pay with it. Is it the same receipt for all purpose? Should he go to bank with the receipt and write down GCMS inside it and payable to receiver general canada. Please describe after getting receipt how we should proceed.

Almost everyone here loves to have Express Service but it does not exist. If there is such a process, it's extremely unfair for those who are less fortunate. Take it as it is, and keep reading others' posts, they provide helpful tips.

You no need to order any receipt , just go bank or post office ask them to make cheque or money order payable to: "Receiver General for Canada"

hi, Make sure your husband also include form IMM5475 and fill it up with IMM5475E with your signature then send it by email: ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca . Then tell him to pay online not you he is the sponsor it may work for him(i havent done that way). When i applied i did by money order, went to canada post office, told them i want to make a money order of 5$ to the receiver general of canada. So they fill up the money order then they will give your husband a receipt number and tell him to keep it, once ottawa will get that money they will process your gcms not before. Dont know if i am forgetting something..
