Singapore COC: Any issues if I get it before eAPR application submission ?

Hi All,

I am planning to get the Singapore COC (PCC) before I submit my application.
This is because I have some travel plans after the eAPR submission and I don't
want to intertwine my COC application with my travel plans.

My question is: Is there any harm to get the PCC before submission ?

I read in other posts that people have done it before and you only need ITA and personalised checklist (so you can include your spouse).

Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

You can get Singapore COC on the basis of ITA.

For getting COC for Spouse you need to show checklist.

If you a nominated by a province you can carry the nomination letter which clearly mention spouse name.

Looks like its routine to get COC without the CIC request email.
Will they give me this info over the phone ? or I just go with my wife and ask for COC ?

You can walk-in to their center near outram park mrt with completed form and required documents.

Submission timings start around 8.30 am. Most of the info given on the website.
You and your spouse need to get finger prints done there along with form submission.
It is pretty quick.

Make sure to go before 11:55am because they will take away the queue generating machine even though the door might be open. I saw it happen to a few who reached there just in time but couldn't complete the process.

I was able to get the COC today. Thanks for your help.
Just one more question.

Did u guys submit the PCC along with eAPR application. ?
Or waited for a request from CIC and then uploaded the already obtained COC.

A bit confused here.

I meant the application. If you have it before then it would be better to submit it along with all the other documents. If you do not have then you can wait for the request. If you wait for the request then you are just prolonging the processing time.

Nope. But they did request for my spouse's travel history and background details once again.

Did they not receive it at first time or what ?
This doesn't seem like related to sending your COC with application.
