What is the significance of AOR??

Does it mean that you are qualified to be put in the EE pool to be ranked? (This means your employment history/education qualification etc are ALL recognized)

Of course, I understand AOR is not ITA. The latter means you are successful to be Canadian, basically.

No, that's not right at all.

AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt. It just means that CIC (or the province, in the case of PNP) has received your application and all of the documents that you've submitted.

ITA is an Invitation to Apply. It means that you are allowed to submit your application. The application still needs to be processed, and assessed. The VO then decides if you will receive PR or if you will be rejected.

Thanks for your reply.

But I think normally speaking, if one receives the ITA (those in the highest ranking in the CRS), they will receive PR, if the applicant does not have anything especially suspicious.

That said, having an ITA means very likely to get an PR

Do you think so?

If you receive ITA, and all your paperwork is in order, and the CIC has no reason to reject you, then you will receive PR. But it's certainly not guaranteed.

Could you please kindly provide answer to my following question??

I have the following thoughts but not sure if you guys agree with it or not.

I know that no matter you fall into FSW and CEC programs, you will be placed in the CRS pool for ranking and the higher scores will get ITA. Thus, when it comes to the chance of getting ITA, your program actually does not count.

Also, I am wondering if CEC applicants in general have a higher CRS score than FSW ones. This is because the FSW applicants very likely do not have work experience in Canada before and lose the CRS score for it (which is a lot). Yet, for CEC which requires 1 year full-time work in Canada when applying, will automatically get the CRS score for Canadian work experience part. This will make CEC applicants higher CRS score, provided other factors such as age/education/language roughly the same.

Correct; once you've received your CRS, your stream doesn't matter. But the eligibility requirements for each stream are different.

True.
