Hi.. everyone,

My husband applied last week, and the question bothering me is my current signature is slightly different from the signature on my passport, my current signature is on my driver's license. I signed the applications with current signature and i included copy of my driver's license as proof of my current signature. does it affect PR process??

If it is a slightly different like passport has no underline and new signature has underline then this kind of difference should not matter. Initially, when I applied for the Canada visa, I did the same mistake. On the other hand, if its a big difference then Sydney office may ask you for the new signed document. If you get pass through this stage then Ottawa office should not reject you on these basis. They will ask you for the updated information, if required.

Thanks....

Thanks Canadacec123 for quick reply...My old sign I used to sign first three letters separately, now I put them all together. I send them copy of my Driver's license as proof of my new sign. Anyway my passport is due for renewal I will change my sign when I get it renewed. My question is does it affect my husband's application coz he is the principal applicant. Will CIC reject our application? Pls help... Thanks
