Sibling Sponsorship

Please, if someone has experience with sibling sponsorship, I would like to sponsor my brother and this is our situation:

- I am PR in Canada and I am married and have two children - all of them are already PR as well thru common Express Entry process.
- my brother is over 18 years old
- my brother is single
- we don't have any other living blood relative - parents/grandparents/siblings.

By reading the rules to sponsor relatives, they mention:

  • you (the person who wants to sponsor your relative) don't have a living relative you could sponsor instead, such as a:
    • spouse
    • common-law partner
    • conjugal partner
    • son or daughter
    • parent
    • grandparent
    • orphaned brother or sister
    • orphaned nephew or niece
    • orphaned grandchild
So, I am assume if my spouse and kids are already PR, they don't fall in this rule as they are already PR?

Any thoughts?

Assume you were starting here:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/other-relatives/who-you-can-sponsor.html

You need to read the next line: "
you (the potential sponsor) don’t have any relatives (aunt or uncle or any of the relatives listed above), who is a:
  • Canadian citizen
  • permanent resident"
Because you as a sponsor have PR spouse and children, you cannot sponsor your brother under this program.

I don't know of any other way to sponsor - your best bet would be, I believe, to assist your brother to immigrate on his own merits (help with education etc).

But I do not know all programs and potential combinations, but I don't believe you can sponsor him under this one.

Yes, thank you @armoured. I got excited about the possibility that I didn't read properly. I will try to find other ways.

Thank you!
If he is young, may be you can help to pay for his education so he can get enough points to immigrate on his own.

That other relative route is also nicknamed as "Lonely Canadaian". So, yes, only if you have no one at all in Canada or possibly to sponsor to Canada (e.g. parents/grandparents), then it's an option.
