Hi guys, I paid for GIC on 20th, have not received it yet
Is it ok to apply with TT receipt.
anyone applying tomorrow without GIC?
Is there any point in waiting beyond tomorrow.

Also in my case(general) GIC was not mandatory!!

hey man, dont worry u will get ur GIC certi. by tomorrow.
I paid on 19th and got my certi. at 29th 1am, so relax.
Meanwhile u can apply for visa with the swift copy and a bank letter of payment.

GIC is not mandatory, but do u have a loan ? either GIC or loan will strengthen ur case..also,if the deadline is reached u can apply with swiftcopy..

I have paid for GIC but haven't received it. Anyways submitted visa application with swift copy today at Mumbai VFS!!
Went there at 8:30am, submitted my documents without any hassels
I was the only person to reach there so early so it went smoothly. The guy at counter said it'll get too crowded after 10am.

Got GIC on 2nd night.
Have already filed for visa on 29th with bank swift copy. Lets hope things work out fine..
There was no point waiting for GIC to arrive and then file for visa, right??

yup thats right... in fact u could have applied few days before so that u wold have got ur visa by now...

indecently i filed my visa with swift copy on the 2nd and got my GIc on the 3rd ,i did submit by GIC cert on the 3rd tho. Dunno if it will work or not or if it even matters..

i dont think they bother whether u send them ur GIC certi, after submitting ur swift copy, anyhow they will process it and hopeful grant u all the visa soon

It all probabilities for me ,anything that can maximise my chances ill do it ;im $hitting my pants right now. ;D

anyways i hope all of u ppl get ur Visas as i can somewhat even imagine the disappointment if it gets rejected. :'(

Because i also applied wd d gic swift copy on 29th nd got my application dispatch msg on 4 even.
And on 5 th i find my pp stamped ...

So dnt be tensed..
Pray hard
