Hey All,
So I am under CEC and in the Ottawa Pilot Project. I got the request for medicals a week ago, only couple of weeks after the "We have received your application... It was sent to CPP-O" e-mail. Got the medicals done couple of days ago and there is a confirmation page that I need to send to Ottawa. I have couple of questions though.
Thanks!
- The doctor said if there is anything with the medicals, she will let me know through e-mail before sending anything to Ottawa. Otherwise, I will not hear anything from her, and in a week I can assume that everything is ok. Should I just go ahead and send the confirmation page right now without waiting for anything?
- The guide says wait until we ask you for the RPRF fee (assuming I am approved), but I hear people say you should send the certified cheque right away to avoid delays. Is this true? Should I just include the cheque along with the confirmation page and send it to Ottawa? The reason I am asking is because (after some reading on the web) it seems like with the CPP-O office getting the medical forms doesn't really mean anything and is done for possible faster processing in case you do get approved later on. My forms however, did say I should get the medicals done immediately, so I am not sure. Anybody has a similar story?
- I had my passport extended in the meantime, should I photocopy the page with the stamp and send it along with the other documents as well? I am guessing I'll need to include some kind of a explanatory letter along with it all.
Thanks!
