Should be full nude while medical check up? Share experience plz.

Hi Tuhin

The answer to your question is "Yes" for both men and women. Myself and family underwent this process, and the doctors were thoroughly professional. They briefed us, this is how its going to be.

Men will be asked to lay flat nude, and will be asked to cough.
Breast examination for women (only in husband's presence) will be done for Cancer symptoms.

On the lighter side, do not laugh or display shyness, I know its difficult but thats how the equation works.

Thanks
Madhava

It's hard to believe, you must be joking!
I've read dozens of medical stories and haven't seen such a thing.

Thanks saxena.sagar. Great relief!

But still ... :o

its shoking guys, done my medical in London, no such things at allllllllllllllllllllllll. I just took shirt off for xray and thats it...... no touching and checking private parts etc

I immigrated a long time ago but I did not have to get fully nude for the medical and there was no touching of private parts. I had to strip down to underwear, probably the doctor made me walk around like they do to see if you limp or something. He checked my blood pressure and listened to my heart. Had me read an eye chart and that was it. Then I had to go to a lab and do x-rays and another lab for urine test and blood test.

Maybe it has changed since then or maybe some doctors are more thorough. I knew a woman who said the doctor who did her medical was a freak and couldn't stop staring at her breasts the whole time. A prostate exam might be done for older guys but it is normally not a part of the routine physical for younger men.

For some clarification it wasn't for immigration purpose, but for a routine checkup. I was in my twenties when it was done. It wasn't an unpleasant experience although it was unexpected. She asked me if I want to, and I said why not. She was a nice looking woman who acted professionally. I've had some Indian doctors before and they were all good.

Oh, my God! I wrote "ginger" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D, not "finger"!
I just noticed that, and I can't stop laughing!
Oh, dear Lord! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
It is even funnier than I thought!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

But seriously, I've never heard of someone getting prostate exam for immigration. However, I assume none of them were older than 40 years of age.
