Who said that? It should be routine check up. They ask to take off the shirt for X-Rays only. And why to take off the clothes for blood or urine test?

dear i did my medicals few days back
they checked my private part properly by touching and also checked hernia
if u take drinks or if u smoke they will see in x-rays and will ask for some more tests

No, a routine checkup includes touching your balls and putting a finger in your anus. I was surprised by this, more so because a young female doctor who looked like an Indian did this to me. So be prepared. It happened in the US.

I'm not kidding. She put on a disposable plastic glove though. That was to check for rectal cancer. It's quite common in the US. I read stories about medical students fingering each other's anus to practice this in medical school.

My doc only told me to remove shirt and trouser. She pressed my belly and looked for scars etc by lifting vest. Balls were not checked. and no fingers inserted anywhere. The physical checkup lasted less than 2 minutes.

I did my medicals in New Jersey and the doctor never asked me to go naked. I was asked to lay down on an examining table and he simply examined the upper body for any abnormalities. However, I was asked to remove my shirt for X-Rays. Now I am glad that nobody inserted anything anywhere.
