Hey!! Does anyone out there have any good experiences or has anyone heard of the best way to ship stuff from New Zealand to Canada? My husband wants to bring his tools but they are too heavy for the airplane, and if we send them by boat in a container we have to pay for the whole container, thousands of dollars, has anyone heard of combined shipping? Where people combine into filling one container so its not as expensive?!

THANKS HEAPS!!!!

No, you don't have to pay for the whole container. Just contact any shipping company specializing relocation between NZ and Canada for details.

Most companys i have contacted only ship full containers, the other ones its very expensive $400 to ship 30 kgs!!

If it's 30kg it shouldn't be too heavy for a plane. Check out different airlines limits and if you can pay excess to go higher. I usually take 32kg per bag on a plane no problem.
