Hi guys,

My University in Brazil just sent photocopies of my transcripts to WES in a sealed envelope, not the originals.
Do you think that will be a problem?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe they require originals for the transcripts and only diploma/certificate copies.
 
3 days after my documents arrived via Fedex and status still ON HOLD - We are waiting for your documents..
I would like to know why they are so slow.

Don't worry, mine was updated at the end of the 3rd day, give it another day to update hopefully.
 
22 business days since WES received the courier, 20 business days since they updated my status to document received , 2 days left for report deadline still my account status says "reviewing your evaluation report ".

Status was updated to final review on 6th morning IST.
 
Finally saw progress on my account today. All my documents were accepted today. Status so far after 2 Calls to WES over two weeks with combined hold time of 50 minutes, two messages on Twitter and two emails.

Application submitted and payment made: 29 August
Institution 1 Documents delivered: 5 September
My set of Documents delivered: 7 September
Institution 2 Documents delivered: 11 September.
Documents under Review: 12 September to 21 September
Status: In progress
We are reviewing your evaluation report: 21 September with Completion date of 12 October.

The status was Report in review from 21st September until yesterday without even any update in time stamp.

Called WES yesterday around 12.30 PM Toronto time. I was extremely lucky they picked up within 30 seconds wait time. The agent's response was just reassuring that they will issue report before due date but she wasn't sure when it will be moved to final stage. I also had a query regarding update in my account information for which i was waiting for them to reply for over 10 days.

Updates in my account today: Status Changed to Final Review + They replied to my query and made the required changes in my account.

So far it's going all good.

Is there any specific time when they update the status ? My wife’s application is due for completion on 11 Oct, but I don’t see any change in status. It still shows Evaluation Report Under Review.

Do they update status only if we contact them or on their own ?
 
They finally moved my status to evaluation in progress with completion date 27 Oct.

So that's 11 Sept payment received, 22 Sept docs under review, 1 Oct moved back to On Hold, 3 Oct moved back to docs under review and today the docs were accepted

Any update regarding your ECA. Mine is showing under final review.

Likewise. It shows final review. it's close to 2 pm in Toronto and I haven't received my report. It's a long weekend from tom onwards in Canada so I am afraid if not today then it's going to be Tuesday next week.
 
Did anyone who was given oct 6th as deadline receive their WES report. I did not receive it yet. When I contacted WES they said they have a system maintenance. Did anyone else get a similar reply from?

@raultest , @Tinevisce and me , all 3 of us have 6th oct as deadline however it seems none of us have received the report so far.

copies are certainly fine, as long as the university stamps and sends sealed envelope to WES.. for me the university took the mark sheets copy from me, stamped , sealed and sent to WES..

There is no specific time of updation. My account status used to be refreshed every 2-3 days but once it got into Evaluation in review status on 21st Sep, not even the account status date changed. Means until yesterday, my account status was report under review with last update date of 21 September.

As per my experience, contacting does help a bit if your case is left aside. By just putting reference number into system, they even can tell when did we call them last time and for what purpose. Also if you haven't heard from them for so long, just talk and request nicely to the agent (worked with me once) to try escalate the matter and they forward a note to the concerned regarding our account. But it all depends on them. So far the process has been going pretty much on its own with or without my follow ups. So, you may surely give it a try. doesn't harm calling them once a week.
