My docs are accepted on 31st of Jan and my final date is 21st Feb but my wife's doc i.e. transcripts were not accepted and the update was on 2nd feb, have sent the transcript + marksheet this time as requested.

Let me answer your second question first. They update the same status for the first time as an acknowledgment that docs were recieved and second time when they start evaluating if they will need to accept the docs or reject them.
Answer to first question is after 10 calendar days of second update of "Documents recieved..." you should see a change in status.
You can send in a single envelop not a problem only the thing was my wife's transcript was not accepted.
For 2 applications that i had created it took 18 and 20 days respectively, from docs recieved to evaluation.
ok. Are you sure they will accept if you send in single envelop with 2 sets of documents with 2 WES account number?
I am not sure man, its very frustrating. Sent them message and theu told me the status will be updated soon.
Oh ok thanks. Then in this case I'll have to wait until 15th... Very frustrating with all the draws going on and WES taking their grand old time.
But then, FedEx delivered my documents on 30th January, and it wasn't until 02nd that I got the " documents received"update. Already lost 4 precious days there.
Another question: Does the length of the evaluation depend upon the complexity of the documents sent? I've simply sent the bare minimum for 2 degrees: degree copy and university transcript. So totally 4 documents.
But then, FedEx delivered my documents on 30th January, and it wasn't until 02nd that I got the " documents received"update. --> This is expected timeline. After actually receiving documents WES takes 48-72 hours to update and your case is normal too.

So totally 4 documents --> It depends on many things and no1 can determine the length. So far, though the process seems slow it is still on track. Around 12th-14th you might get update on due date of completion.

Put your docs stating the WES refereence number and your wife docs with her WES number on the respecitive documents into the bigger cover, On that cover mentioned the WES reference number of you as well as your wife, that's it.
