It takes about a month and a half at least. @animhossain1989 @Dineshreddy which university are you going to and have you been you admitted for the fall 2017 intake? Because it would take another 6 weeks to receive your study permit now
Yes, I see the situation. I should have applied little earlier! I was offered by Concordia university. Assuming study permit process in Time of 6 weeks, I have hardly one week for my CAQ. If I dint get in next week I need to defer my application for next intake

HHello all,

I mailed in my missing documents for the CAQ on 10th july, and the courier was delivered on 17th july. I was wondering how long it would take for them to issue the CAQ after this.

Will I have to wait another 20+ business days for them to process the missing documents? Or should I be expecting something within the coming week? Any insight on this would help.

Thanks!

When did you send initial documents? Did you contact canada immigration? Contacting them is the best opinion you have to speed up the process, they may suggest you to fax your missing documents

My doucuments reached them on 30 May but I dint get any update till 5th July. Later I called up and explained about my situation, they said they might have misplaced the documents and asked me to fax them all my documents again including proof of the delivery (tracking ID). Later I sent them on 7th July and I received my CAQ on 12th July.
If anyone waiting too long for CAQ please contact them.

Congratulations, You are lucky! I sent out my documents on 6 June but no updates so far. I have called them twice already. As for the last call of last week, they still cannot confirm the receipt of documents and cannot do anything for me. They only told me to calm down and wait patiently as they believed my waiting time is still in a normal range. I am getting more worried day by day as my study permit expired at 31 August.

Hello everyone, I finally got some updates today. I sent out my documents on 7 June with regular mail, which supposes to be delivered in 3 days (around 10 June). However, on the web, they said they received my documents on 21 June. I don't know what happened but basically it took them 14 days to receive my documents and another 30 days to update. I have been waited for around 40 days for this update...

Hope this information is helpful for you guys.
