Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows what are the medical tests done with a child?

We are scheduled for our medical exam tomorrow and my 2 year old child is having a runny nose and mild cough. I was thinking if we need to re-schedule it until my child is well for the medical exam.

Please advice. Thank you!

Regards,

Bembol

Medical for a child is simple but it is better to cure your child first for the cough otherwise the doctor may also ask you to do so at the checkup.

Dear SGVO Applicants who has completed medical and already sent other required documents to SGVO, please share your update regarding passport request or any other update needed by VO. It will help us to understand the present and future situation of our application status. Also lots of best wishes who still didnt get MR yet. Hope it will come soon.

If you are in Vietnam. They will ask you to send PPs via IOM (HN or HCMC) for sending and receiving! 35USD per PP for the service.

Dear greenfern!

How did your PPR arrive from SG, by regular mail? registered mail? or email? Beside PPR, did SG request for any additional docs? and did they return you any original docs initially submitted ?

I'm from Vietnam too. (Happy to know that there are some Vietnamese around this forum too) ;D After the medical examination, did IOM give you the tracking number or anything similar so that you can check your medical file had reached Manila or not?

Best to all !!!

I got PPR by airmail. Yes, they sent back my original transcripts. You may not know anything after medicals done, just wait for 4-6 weeks for PPR. I'm in Hanoi by the way. When will you land in Canada? Good luck to you!

HI Lepetit, I am from HCMC. My medical request and medical check up done at the same time to you. I was asked to update certain forms and I plan to complete around next week. II have no idea of when to receive PPR; will share with you when I have information.

Cheers,

Did they send back your original IELTS result, greenfern? Did IOM in Hanoi tell you when will your passport be returned with visa stamped?

For my part, if things go smoothly with my visa issuance, I'm planning to land round about March next year, heading to Burnaby, BC, where some of my relatives are living now. How about you?
:)

No IELTS result because it is expired already. An IOM officer said that it may take 6 weeks to 3 months for visa stamping. I will go to Calgary with a hope of easy finding job(s) there.

Hi there, nhactre99!!

Me too, from HCM City. In the letter attached with MR, they said the PPR will be issued approximately 3 months after medical is successfully done. Though as far as my observation goes, Singapore is taking less than that to send PPR.

Keep me posted about your case, pal !! :D

I completed my medical in 1st week of June, any idea when can I expect the ppr? It has already been more than 2 months and I am seeing others from SVO are getting ppr within much shorter time periods

We are concerned also coz we are also PPR pipeline. I think this delay is not because you forgot to write your details on the bank draft.

Praying for you, brother.
