Sexual assault & Police Checks

When I lived in country XYZ, I filed a formal sexual assault complaint with the local police (me being the person affected, not the perpetrator!). I was just wondering if this will appear in the police check that CIC requires from that country and if so, whether it's likely to delay the process or they'll just ignore it instead.

Being a victim isn't a crime, so it wouldn't be on your criminal record check.

I can't imagine it being a problem, nor have I heard any instances of that being a problem on this forum.
