Hi there!

How long does it take to get the approval of visa? My consultant is still doing the review before passing my documents to immigration. I am afraid that I couldn't make it on time since my class will start on 4th of September.

However, they also have their deadlines but I am just worried what if I got denied? Or atleast they will get to pass the papers on or before month of June ends..

The ticket is so expensive if you buy it right away and haven't resigned at work too.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

I got myself a consultant too, but I pushed for my application to be submitted last June 13, 2019 after my upfront medical since I was after the cheaper airline ticket as well as having enough time to resign form my company.

I am from Iloilo City. My visa specialist updated me that my Medical results have been approved. It's just waiting time at this point.
Will check again status next week with her.

I took the SDS application since the processing time is shorter.

June 7, 2019 - Biometrics instruction letter
June 11, 2019 - Biometrics collection in Cebu

I think you need to follow up already if you want to get your visa on time and wont be deferred. Have you paid your tuition and GIC?

Hey, my visa got refused today. My consultant sent me the the refusal. Will reapply on my own probably since they are charging me additional costs for the reapplication.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. What is the reason of refusal?

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

My initial thought is that my study plan is not strong enough. But they advised me to get a GCMS notes to get the real reason. But wants me to pay CAD2500 which is a lot. When I asked about GCMS it should only cost me no more than CAD30.

Hmm. That is too much. I suggest if you would ask from this forum, I once read about that and they say that only if you have family from Canada they are the ones to request that and pay for only $5. Correct me if Im wrong..

How about your proof of funds? How ling does the money need to be there in your account? Does the VO call the bank for confirmation?
