Hmm. That is too much. I suggest if you would ask from this forum, I once read about that and they say that only if you have family from Canada they are the ones to request that and pay for only $5. Correct me if Im wrong..

How about your proof of funds? How ling does the money need to be there in your account? Does the VO call the bank for confirmation?

That’s right, i read that too in the IRCC site. There are also companies who does this kind of filing for a minimal fee.

I applied through student direct stream or SDS, paid 1 year of tuition and deposited CAD10,000 as proof of funds. I could defer my intake to January 2020 to have enough time or I could reapply now and hope for the best.

I applied by myself altho mine is complicated because I just had a refused PR so I included a letter of explanation for dual intent. Second, this program is completely different from my educational background and work experience. I just had to write a longggg SOP to justify this.

I don't have relatives there. I'm browsing kjiji for apartments but just window shopping lol cos I don't want to get my heart broken a 2nd time!

Im weighing my options. Getting the GCMS notes will determine the exact reason for denial at least I know what to write in the explanation. Whats another couple of week of waiting anyway, lol.
