I've been standing at NA2 since September 29, but yesterday, I received the update "we do not need additional documents" while BG is still same. What does that mean??

it means just they are processing your application, it may take anything from days to months... just wait now.

Hi Andy and senior members,
I have my eAPR - 4th Sep I got a doc request for travel request for principal applicant for my travel to ETHIPOIA which comes to 181 days overall, I had initially thought CIC will send the PCC request for Ethiopia as mentioned in website however I didnot know I should upload a document requesting for the same.
Could you let me know how can I mail them? and ask for the same now?

Any inputs will be helpful

You can raise a CSE or send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and request.

I have deferred the xray of my spouse, because of pregnancy. My timelines are as follows -

ITA Received - 12/07/17 | AOR 14/09/17
Meds On Hold - Due to x-ray Deferral of spouse
IP1 - 22/09/17 | NA2 - 29/09/17
RPRF - 03/10/17
RPRF Paid - 04/10/17

Kindly let me know the way forward. Will I be stuck in NA2 till I sumbit x-ray or will I be in IP2 & then on hold?

Also CIC is not giving me an option to upload xray post delivery. How will I upload it at a later stage? @legalfalcon @andy108

Until the medical is completed, your application will be put on hold. This is because if a family member is inadmissible due to medical inadmissibility, the whole family is deemed to be inadmissible.

This is why unless the medicals are cleared your application will not proceed to eligibility.

The NA, IP etc are in significant as they do not depict what stage your application is at. Each application as per the immigration law passes through the following:

R10 (completeness check)
Medicals
Criminality
Eligibility
Security.
