Hi everyone,
anyone here knows how long does the NA2 take?

AOR 28/09/17
NA1 28/09/17
Medical Passed 12/10/17
IP1 13/10/17
NA2 16/10/17

Thanks
It varies for everyone. Mine took 1.7 weeks, but you can't go by that unfortunately. The application process is just too unpredictable to make accurate predictions...

Hey, We have very similar timelines.

AOR 28/09/17
BG: Not App 28/09/17
Medical under review 13/10
Medical Passed 14/10
BG: In progress 14/10
BG: NA 16/10
I think this is pretty fast. isn't it guys?

BTW, I live in Canada. I applied for a student visa 4 months ago and came here just one month ago starting a Ph.D. degree.
I provided my fingerprint at that time and a background check conducted on my application back then.

PS:
Let' keep each other updated as our timelines are pretty the same.

Thanks..

Hey Jay,
our dates are very similar! I thought it was quite fast too... but maybe now we will have to wait 3 months or so.

Btw, where are you from? do you think the time range changes depending on the country?

3 months is good for me, As I'm from Iran I expect much longer time than that. I've heard CIC send many Iranians for lengthy background checks. Not sure though. Not sure if the time changes based on applicants' nationality!

Just keeping my fingers crossed for 3 months or earlier.

===============
Good luck to you all. And any update of your timelines would be highly appreciated.

Best

Hi

My AOR was on september 23. Paid the filing fee upfront. But because my other credit card did not hold sufficient balance, i used my other cc to pay for rprf. I attached the rprf receipt with explanation on additional documents. Today i received a letter from cic asking me to pay the rprf. I plan to send the receipt again today. What stage do you think i am already in?

Everyone will have a different answer for this but your average times between stages has been consistent with mine. My application took 11 days from NA to IP2. I’ve been waiting in IP2 for 18 days now. What’s your stream?
Anyway, if you haven’t already, please consider putting your case on the tracker: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application
I love playing with the filters and trying to predict the next Brazilian getting a PPR! Hahaha

Until the medical is completed, your application will be put on hold. This is because if a family member is inadmissible due to medical inadmissibility, the whole family is deemed to be inadmissible.

This is why unless the medicals are cleared your application will not proceed to eligibility.

The NA, IP etc are in significant as they do not depict what stage your application is at. Each application as per the immigration law passes through the following:

R10 (completeness check)
Medicals
Criminality
Eligibility
Security.

To read more on the stages see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/
Thank you so much sir..

Guys,

I am an Express Entry applicant. Can you please share the timeline of events starting from the date of submission of final application to getting medical exam passed status to background check completed and passport request?

I had submitted my file on the 29th of September and on the 14th of October I got a confirmation that I have passed the medical exam. So I want to know after how much time will I will be getting the passport request for Stamping?

Your help in this matter will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Kunal
