Got a second pre-arrival today. Kind of useless but hopefully it means they're touching our application

GCKey still says "we have not received your biometrics" and PR tracker still says biometrics in progress. Three weeks since the biometrics appointment.

Submitted application on September 21st 2024
Got everything done the Biometric and Medical Last Response was Nov 8th 2024. we never got the AOR which was odd but they sent the medical so we did everything. It's been about 2 and a half almost 3 months since medical was done haven't heard anything the status has been on Background for The PA.

I applied for conjugal partner sponsorship on sep . In the application it was stated we were planning to get married on Nov . But due to unexpected reasons the Marriage postponed. Does this affect my sponsorship . Will I face a rejection? What can I do now. It’s been 5 months it’s running. Can someone help with this

while the marriage has nothing to do with your application as conjugal partner, it is otherwise conflicted with conjugal relationship declaration/definition
why did you apply as conjugal partner then planned for marriage? i didn't get it

We applied since we believed that we are qualified to that category. And thought there is a provision to get married or not later.our plan was to submit the mrg certificate after that using webform.

if marriage was possible, i don't think you're eligible for conjugal relationship (see below)
so (in a way) it's better that your marriage is postponed, but you have stated in the application itself then good luck with it

If you’re in conjugal relationship
A conjugal partner is:

• a person who is living outside Canada,
• in a conjugal relationship with the sponsor for at least one year

You can sponsor a conjugal partner if:

• there is a significant degree of attachment between the two of you, implying not just a physical relationship but a mutually interdependent relationship, and
• you’ve been in a genuine (real) relationship for at least 12 months where marriage or cohabitation (living together) hasn’t been possible for any reason.

Important: If you’re applying in the conjugal partner class, the person being sponsored cannot be living in Canada.

If you just want to get married later because of personal reason, then that doesn't qualify to be a conjugal partner .
You should have waited till you got married and have the document to apply to sponsor the spouse after.
