I have a vacation planned for the week of March 9th - I am really hoping that the process gets completed by then and I have the passport in hand ":)
Fingers crossed for you. I was so stressed because I am traveling (within Canada) next week and then on the 17th to Europe. Both are important trips I cannot cancel. Was so happy to see the date today on the portal.

Ideally you should get the oath invite this week!

One quick question
I applied for my spouse and kid together. I see all the updates happening on my wife's portal only and my daughter's portal has no updates. She is less than 18 yrs so is it like once my wife's stages are complete and scheduled for oath then it will get updated?

Kids application just completes in the end when parents application completes.

On January 25, my Language, Physical Presence, and Background Verification were all completed in a single day. However, the Prohibitions check has remained in progress since then. I was under the impression that the LPP is typically processed together, but my application appears to be stuck at this stage.

I am confident that I have no prohibitions, so this delay is puzzling. Should I be concerned? Any insights or advice on what might be causing this delay would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations! Is in-person or virtual oath ceremony randomly selected for candidates or is there a way (probably when completing the application) that would’ve determined if oath will be in person or virtual?? I ask because my LPP got completed on Jan 29th but nothing yet received on oath taking even though I’d prefer in person oath taking.
Oath Ceremony February 21 (tracker update on Feb 4). Oath letter not yet received.

Who knows how long from tracker update to receiving Oath letter?

Mine was just over 2 weeks. They arent always together. Saw someone was 80 days in-between language and prohibitions. It's ok - nothing unusual :)

Hello everyone, I wanted to share that my family and I received multiple emails from IRCC to participate into a Citizenship to Passport initiative (as a pilot) where we can request our passports while applying for citizenship, we received the invite about a week after the letters for our oath ceremony (planned for 12th of February), there are new forms and the thing I noticed is that there is no guarantor anymore but only the 2 references. It's aimed at eliminating redundancy and simplifying the initial passport request. It's by invite only. We chose to apply the normal way as this pilot will not work for requests with less than 20 business days. It might be that some of you will receive the same invite to participate.

This pilot is going on for a long time and the process is slower than the normal passport application process so I doubt anyone will opt for it.

Hi @legalfalcon @Buletruck @Simba112

I applied for PR under CEC in 2023, last year my wife and I were charged for domestic violence and all our charges were withdrawn few months ago and I had submitted court judgement documents to IRCC, however officer asked me to submit RCMP criminal record check, I applied for it last month and got the rcmp criminal record yesterday and there it mentions both of our charges are still outstanding. Not sure what should I upload now, because it's kind of contradicting report to court documents. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hire a lawyer, or have a consultation. This one probably needs some care in responding.
