Hi guys, i have question can plz anybody clear it i got passport request on outside it says my spouse name but when i open pdf inside letter it says my name and my address but UCI is of my spouse. and in step 3 it says if ur outside send ur passport if inside let us know via webform within 5 days but i am primary applicant already inside canada. What i have to do now just book passort appointment for my spouse or i have to tell ircc through webform that i am inside canada.
one more thing i haven't received portal 1 yet.
Can anybody answer it plz.
I got the same letter but my spouse is inland therefore I raised a web to inform our current status.
If you got any doubts just call ircc or raise webform, they will advise you the further steps.

Hello Everyone,
I have been following this page for a while and wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone for solving a lot of issues and assisting me at every step even though I never posted before but your comments have helped me navigate a whole lot of tricky situations.

My case- My wife was in Canada when she received the ITA and I was and am in India. We filed the application while she was there and came back to India because her work visa was expiring. She was a student and then 1 yr work permit holder. This is our timeline.

ITA- Aug 14 2024
AOR- Sep 28
Medical and Biometric- October last week.
ADR for PCC- Oct 14,
my wife’s PCC was delayed as she had applied from Canada. We got it done again when she was back in India.
ADR submitted- Nov 19
A long wait after that.
Another ADR- update background information form from both of us- 21 March 2025
ADR submitted- 28 March 2025
Tracker updated to completed on my wife’s profile on Apr 8, mine is still showing Eligibility not started.
Ready for Visa Email- Apr 8 2025

10 Apr 2025- went to VFS and submitted our passports for Visa stamping. COPR numbers visible in tracker. Hoping for quick turnaround so I can start planning.

Once again, huge thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and challenges. Made my life so much easier and kept me calm and composed whenever I was worried.

My best wishes to everyone, hope it works out for all of you.

but my represntative told me that the ppr letter is only for your spouse but name is always written of the primary applicant that's why it's my name not her. and he told me if ur spouse is inside then we have to tell ircc about it. You are already inland applicant so now u don't have to tell them that ur inside they already know as it was an inalnd application with outland spouse.

Yes. I went to VFS and there was no issue. This is why I wanted to share as much info as possible. Based on my research too, only PA gets an email and that works for all dependants. I am assuming since VFS did not stop me or during the checks did not raise any issue, this is a normal practice.
As for the P1 and P2, I don’t think that is how it works if you are outside Canada. Outside Canada you get Ready for Visa email and then passport gets stamped and you receive the COPR physical document.

That is my info. Would be happy if someone who knows can clarify for others. I will keep you guys updated about the next two steps.
